
Andrew Tom is the founder of Moricetown Place Society. Elected onto the first Moricetown Youth Council, Andrew has been the driving force behind the establishment of Moricetown Place. Starting off with just a set of keys and a broom, Andrew and the Youth Council opened up a youth centre that would later evolve into a dynamic and thriving Community Centre offering programs and services to people of all ages.
Currently, Andrew is working full time at the Band Office as the Band Manager Assistant. The Executive Director position at Moricetown Place is a volunteer position. Andrew along with the Board of Directors volunteer their time because they believe in creating change and making a difference in the lives of our community members.
Andrew brings youth advocacy experience gained after serving as an Executive on the local, provincial and national youth councils within the Friendship Centre Movement. After the opening of Moricetown Place in 2002, Andrew has mentored two sitting youth councils for the Moricetown Band and remains strongly connected to his youth relations work in and out of the office setting.

Leonard Frazer has been working in Recreation for the community of Moricetown since 2002. The positive changes many have witnessed in Moricetown has been a direct result of Leonard's hard work and dedication to Community Development. Leonard brings experience from various fields and backgrounds including the Wet'suwet'en Cultural Camps, Various News Publishing, Documentaries, Photography, Community Mapping among others.
The Recreation Department has seen countless Coordinators come and go but Leonard's five year plan proves to be successful and on-going. Leonard is responsible for scheduling monthly activities for all age groups, supervising the Youth Worker, coordinating community lunches and also publishing monthly recreation newsletters. Band Council recognizes all of Leonard's work and his committment to providing a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment at the Moricetown Place Community Centre.
